When I tutored in computer, I found that my students were staying longer after the bell had rang. After a while, I told them that the bell had rang 10 minutes ago. But they were still “having fun” with the computers, they didn’t move from their chairs. One day, I gave them an exercise. I asked them to create a unique but simple crosswords puzzle using Ms. Excel software, they were very thrilled to do it, they didn’t even take their break that day.
I love teaching and I am delighted when my students enjoy learning and succeed. I believe a nation might progress by education and the strength of a nation depends on its youth. We live in 21st century that can’t be separated from information and communication technology. My desire is to promote Indonesia through education. By integrating enjoyment and learning, especially in computer subject and other related fields.
Indonesian culture, like Indonesia itself, is a fascinating blend of indigenous, Malay, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and Islamic elements. Indonesia is a country of great diversity. This diversity is also found in all aspects of culture: language, housing, cuisine, dance and music, artistic expression, etc as each has many local variants. When I was a kid, on every Independence Day Anniversary ( what we Indonesian people_ call “Agustusan”). I performed a traditional dance, either a Sundanese or a Javanese dance, I still like them both. I practiced about a month before the performance was held on stage. However, Indonesia is also noted for several distinct and national cultural expressions. These include the Wayang shadow puppet theater, the gamelan orchestra, Balinese and Javanese dance, Batik cloth making traditions, and rice based and spicy cuisine. I would like to share all about Indonesia and to bring Indonesian culture to the world.
