So how critical have been provinces in Italy? Is it allied to counties here? For example:
United States> State of Texas > Harris County > City of Houston
Italy > Campania Region > Naples Province > City of Naples
Is which right?

It depends how distant from home we have been really. If we transport out of the province, you’d impute to your range as your home. I’ve never unequivocally met any one who would contend "I’m from the Campania region". They’d many expected contend their province, though if the chairman they have been articulate to knows the area, they’ll substantially impute to their tangible city or locale as their home. Just consider of it this way… if we went to the opposite state, you’d contend which we were from Texas (unless the city you’re from is the vital city similar to Houston, afterwards contend which instead). If we said, "l’m from ‘Hicksville’ they’d have no idea where which is. right?
