I’m formulation a outing from to Italy subsequent year, as well as I’m perplexing to get my skeleton together. I’m starting to be drifting in from a United States, many expected from possibly Chicago or Atlanta (probably Atlanta). The categorical destinations of this outing is Lucca to see a good walled city, as well as afterwards to Venice. we need to know which airports have been a most appropriate to fly into, specifically, from Lucca to Venice, as well as about how prolonged which moody time would take.

I do not cruise there have been flights in between Lucca as well as Venice (anyway we can’t find any upon Venice airfield website http://www.veniceairport.it/) though we do not cruise it’d be the improved way, anyway; by train, smallest time is reduction than 4 hours: http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html
Edit: we didn’t even cruise airfield outward of Lucca, given as we can see from the answer below, it’ll take any approach 4 hours airfield to airport; afterwards we should supplement the time indispensable for reaching Pisa airfield from Lucca, afterwards the time indispensable for reaching Venice from Treviso…
If we locate the sight we can begin from the core of Lucca finale up in Venezia Mestre in the smallest of 3:54 hours, though even with the slower options/schedules it’s 5 hours.
When travelling inside Italy, we should in all cruise the moody usually for longer routes, similar to from south to north or from islands to continental Italy.

The closest airfield to Lucca is Pisa. Pisa is about fifteen miles from Lucca. Venice has it’s own airport. we checked on-line as well as Alitalia flies there around Milano. Cost is around US$250 – 300 turn trip. Less if the single way. we used the site
http://www.europebyair.com. It does the poke of most inner-European airlines.
Here is the representation routing:
(PSA) Pisa, Italy 06:55 AM Thu 02/21
(MXP) Milan, Italy 07:55 AM Thu 02/21
Flight #: 1453
(MXP) Milan, Italy 09:50 AM Thu 02/21
(VCE) Venice, Italy 10:50 AM Thu 02/21
Hotel Recommendation for Lucca: "La Luna". It is mainly located in the heart of the walled city. Also, we rarely suggest renting the bike, as Lucca is car-free. Many bike let emporium have been available.
