What states in a joined states have sensuous vegetation?

I’m perplexing to write the book though we can’t find the place to set it in. we know we wish it in the United States, in the pleasing farming area with the tiny town, as well as the lot of trees, similar to forests of them, as well as the winter gets flattering cold. If we know of the place similar to this or live somewhere around one, greatfully let me know what state it is, as well as if your comfortable, what locale it is too. Thanks!

Oh boy, Pennsylvania fits the bill.
Forests, meadows, waterfalls, outrageous boulders around riverbanks.
Winters have been cold as well as final from Halloween until St. Patrick’s Day. Nov is positively bleak, cold winds, gray skies, may be the little sleet. Always sleet by Christmas, as well as Jan is heartless with black ice upon the roads, most inches of snow. Feb is still cold, as well as the sleet turns to low gray jelly during the sides of the road.
The forests get thick as well as tangled, not similar to California where we can travel simply in between the trees, this is tough going. Western Pennsylvania has ruins of the glaciers’ retreat, where outrageous boulders line the riverbanks. Rushing rivers where kayakers or swimmers can be killed, sleazy rocks upon the stream bottom, mostly brownish water.
Noon is the hottest time of the day (not similar to down South where it’s some-more similar to 4 o’clock.)
Much wildlife, deer, robins, cardinals, squirrels, chipmunks, black bears, pheasants, grouse, etc.
Cook’s Forest is in Western Pennsylvania, it’s the second-growth timberland that’s the state play ground now. That equates to it was inexperienced given the 1700′s. The trees have been so high which the total timberland is finish shade (and the mosquitoes will eat we alive in the shade.)
Humidity, the receptive to advice of cicadas in the evening, anguish doves cooing during dawn.
Amish group plowing their fields with breeze horses, Amish buggies upon the road.
You have the lot to work with in the novel set here.
New Wilmington is the little locale there, the college town, surrounded by this kind of thing. North of there is Grove City. Places similar to that. It would be good if we could see it.
